As a professional artist, Kay has used her talents in various mediums. From wall murals to architectural sketches she always shows exceptional talent and skill. Her love for people, especially children, drove her to begin face painting. Now she combines her passion for both art & people into every design that she creates to bring joy to people no matter the occasion. Kay has provided face painting services for events ranging from small birthday parties, with just a few guests, to a city wide Fourth of July celebration with over 11,000 in attendance. OUR PAINTS
“Fun Faces D.C. uses FDA approved “snazaroo” face paints. Snazaroo manufactures its products using FDA compliant materials, packaging and processes that would provide FDA compliance (and their international counterparts). We also use professional grade paint such as Wolfe Bros., Mehron, and more. Our face painting products are regulated as a cosmetic good and are just as safe (or more so) as something you would find at an upscale cosmetic counter. We do not use any materials in our products that could cause harm. This includes the full range of materials from the FDA compliant glitter we use in our glitter gels to the FD&C reds we use in our red face paints. We never use any product on the face that does not specifically say it is FDA compliant and safe for use on the face as a cosmetic good. We also avoid ingredients that can substantially increase the risk of allergic reaction, such as fragrances. Our products are designed to be used on children and therefore we take every measure that they are the safest face paints in the world.
